RIMPAC 2024: Βολές NSM στη μεγαλύτερη ναυτική άσκηση του πλανήτη (φωτογραφίες και βίντεο)

Σε πλήρη εξέλιξη βρίσκεται η πολυεθνική διακλαδική άσκηση RIMPAC 2024 και έχουν ήδη αρχίσει να κάνουν την εμφάνισή τους εντυπωσιακές φωτογραφίες όπως και βίντεο. Αυτή διαρκεί από τις 27 Ιουνίου έως και την 1η Αυγούστου και λαμβάνει χώρα στην θαλάσσια αλλά και χερσαία περιοχή της Χαβάης, όπου συμμετέχουν 29 κράτη με 25.000 άτομα προσωπικό, 40 πλοία επιφανείας, τρία υποβρύχια και πάνω από 150 αεροσκάφη. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως 14 κράτη συμβάλλουν και με χερσαίες δυνάμεις σε διάφορα σενάρια, αυξάνοντας τον ρεαλισμό και το επίπεδο δυσκολίας της άσκησης.

Pacific Ocean (June 25, 2024) The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) makes its approach towards the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197) to conduct a replenishment at sea. Η RIMPAC 2024 έχει σημαντικές διαφοροποιήσεις σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα έτη, καθώς για πρώτη φορά, ένα μέλος του Ναυτικού της Χιλής, ο Αρχιπλοίαρχος Alberto Guerrero, θα υπηρετήσει ως αναπληρωτής διοικητής του συνόλου των δυνάμεων (Combined Task Force).
